INTRODUCTION

This article describes the different types of slides that you can add to a Microsoft Office PowerPoint presentation that is in Microsoft Office Live Meeting.

MORE INFORMATION

The following is a list of the PowerPoint slide options that are available on the Insert menu in Live meeting:
  • Whiteboard Slide - A Whiteboard slide is a blank image slide where you can add annotations. You may want to use a Whiteboard slide to illustrate a point or to add a flowchart.
  • Text Slide - A Text slide lets you add or edit text during a presentation. A Text slide contains initial text, and the audience members can copy and paste information directly on the Text slide.
  • Poll Slide - A Poll slide lets the audience vote during the presentation. After the audience votes, you can immediately display the results of the poll.
  • Web Slide- A Web slide displays active Web pages. For example, you can display a Web page that contains links to the presenter's e-mail address or links to documents that provide more information.
  • Snapshot Slide- A Snapshot slide displays a screen capture from your computer. For example, you can display a screen capture from a program that you are using to train a group of employees, or you can display a shot of system settings.
  • Sharing Slide- A Sharing slide is like having the audience watch over your shoulder as you work on your computer. A Sharing slide displays to the audience a continual view of everything that appears on your computer, and it provides a great way to demonstrate a new product or to lead your audience on a Web tour.
