You cannot schedule a shutdown of the system by using the Windows Storage Server 2003 WebUI (871116)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Shutdown scheduled option or the Restart scheduled option in the Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2003 WebUI, the system does not shut down at the scheduled time.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
