INTRODUCTION

This article describes what occurs when your meeting runs over your scheduled time in Microsoft Office Live Meeting.

MORE INFORMATION

If your meeting runs over the scheduled time, PlaceWare Conference Center will not end your meeting. Attendees that are logged on to your meeting will not lose connection during the meeting.

The following situations occur when your meeting runs over your scheduled time in Live Meeting:
  • If attendees leave your meeting or try to connect after the scheduled end of the meeting, they cannot log back on to your meeting.
  • Because you are still using up seats in your meeting, other scheduled meetings may be impacted. For example, if you have 20 licensed seats, and your meeting is using 15 of those seats, any meeting that is trying to start will only be able to use the five seats that are still open. As soon as the attendees to your meeting leave, those seats are freed up for use by other meetings.
Organizers may coordinate meetings with one another to reduce potential conflicts like this.
