You cannot log on to Live Meeting after you click the Live Meeting shortcut in your Favorites folder in Internet Explorer (871024)

SYMPTOMSWhen you click the Microsoft Office Live Meeting shortcut in Microsoft Internet Explorer to log on to Live Meeting, you cannot connect to the server to log on to Live Meeting.CAUSEThis issue occurs if the server number that you require to log on to Live Meeting has changed.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, delete the server number from the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) in the Live Meeting shortcut that you saved in your Favorites folder. To do this, follow these steps: - Start Internet Explorer.
- Click Favorites, right-click your Live Meeting shortcut, and then click Properties.
- On the Web Document tab, delete the numbers that follow the "www" at the beginning of the Web site address in the URL box.
- Click Apply, and then click OK.
After you complete the previous steps, you will be redirected to the correct location to log on to Live Meeting when you now click the Live Meeting shortcut in your Favorites folder in Internet Explorer.
