This article describes how to use already prepared text in a polling slide in Microsoft Office Live Meeting. When you do this, you do not have to write new content.

The following two methods let you use existing text in a polling slide.

Method 1: Copy and paste

You can use a text editor such as Microsoft Office Word 2003 or Notepad to copy and to paste pre-existing text into a polling slide. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Open the document that contains the text that you want to add to your polling slide.
  2. Copy and then paste the question and the choices for your poll to your polling slide.

Method 2: Use Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003

You can create your polling slides by using the Microsoft Office Live Meeting Add-in for PowerPoint. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Start PowerPoint 2003.
  2. On PlaceWare menu, point to Insert a New PlaceWare Slide.
  3. Click Multiple Choice Poll or click Yes/No Poll.
  4. Click Save to save the slide.
  5. On the PlaceWare menu, click Export as a PlaceWare Slide Set.
