A "No mapping between account names and security IDs was done" error message is logged in the Application log when you create an account in Microsoft CRM (861354)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to create an account in Microsoft CRM with the Microsoft Business Solutions CRM Integration for Great Plains installed, no customer is created in Microsoft Great Plains. The following error message is logged in the Microsoft CRM server Application log: MSCRM Platform Error Report:

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

The CRM1.0-TK29312-Server-Windows2000.exe update is located on the Microsoft CRM Integration for Great Plains 1.0 CD in the Microsoft CRM Updates directory.

Installation information

Install this update on computers that are running Microsoft CRM 1.0 Server.

Prerequisites

To install this update, you must have installed Microsoft CRM version 1.0.

Removal information

You cannot remove this hotfix.

Restart requirement

You must restart the Microsoft CRM and Microsoft CRM Integration for Great Plains servers after you install this hotfix.
