Annotations may not appear immediately when you add annotations in Live Meeting on a portable computer (842944)

SYMPTOMSWhen you add annotations in Microsoft Office Live Meeting on
a portable computer, the annotations may not appear immediately and the
computer may briefly stop responding (hang).CAUSEThis problem may occur if the video driver on the portable
computer has the hardware acceleration setting set to Full.
Some portable computers use a video driver that is intended to optimize some
programs, but this affects video performance and the clarity of rendering
graphics.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, reduce the hardware acceleration
setting for the video driver. To do this, follow these steps:
- Click Start, point to
Settings, and then click Control
Panel.
- Double-click Display.
- On the Settings tab, click
Advanced.
- On the Troubleshoot tab, move the hardware
acceleration slider control to one notch left of
Full.
Note The following message is the description for this
position:Disable cursor and bitmap accelerations. Use
this setting to correct problems with the mouse pointer, or to correct problems
with corrupt images. - Click Apply, and then click
OK two times.
