FIX: Category properties that are marked with the "Store data for analysis" attribute are not exported to the Data Warehouse in Commerce Server 2002 (842635)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Commerce Server 2002, if a property definition has the Store data for analysis attribute set and is a part of a category definition, the property will not be exported to the Data Warehouse. After you run the Product Catalog Import Catalog Data Transformation Services (DTS) task, the category class in the Data Warehouse does not contain the exported property.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Commerce Server 2002 service pack that contains this hotfix.
