Note flags may be duplicated when you view the Note Flags Summary task pane in OneNote 2003 (840267)

SYMPTOMS

When you view the Note Flags Summary task pane (on the View menu, click Note Flags Summary) in Microsoft Office OneNote 2003, the note flags may be duplicated.

CAUSE

This problem may occur after you create a summary page and you update the results of the Note Flags Summary task pane.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, follow these steps:
  1. Start OneNote 2003.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. In the Category list, click Note Flags.
  4. Click Show original flagged notes as dimmed.
  5. Click OK to close the Options dialog box.
