How to use the archive feature in Digital Image Library (840159)

INTRODUCTION

Microsoft Digital Image Library is a component of the programs that are listed in the "Applies to" section. Archiving is one of the new features that are available in Digital Image Library. This article describes how to start the archive process.

To archive photos to a floppy disc, a Zip disk, a CD-ROM, or a DVD-ROM with basic archive, follow these steps:
  1. On the File menu, click Archive.
  2. Click Next.
  3. Click the archive option that you want.
  4. Click Next.
  5. The available archive destinations appear. Click the destination where you want to archive, and then click Next.
  6. Click Basic Archive, and then click Next.
  7. Type a friendly name, and then click Next.
  8. Review the archive summary, and then click Next.
  9. When the process is completed, click Finish.
