"Word has encountered a problem and needs to close" error message when you try to insert an address in Word 2002 (839368)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to insert an address from the Envelopes and Labels option on the Tools menu in Microsoft Word 2002, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following:
word has encountered a problem and needs to close.
signature: appname winword.exe
mod name - schdmapi.dll

CAUSE

This behavior may occur if the Microsoft Outlook profile that you are using is corrupted.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, create a new profile in Outlook.
