When you are online or offline in a Microsoft Business Solutions CRM 1.2 Sales for Outlook-based client, you can select deactivated entities in the Regarding field of an Appointment activity. This problem occurs if the Appointment activity was created by opening the Microsoft CRM Appointment form on the Microsoft CRM toolbar.

This problem does not occur if you create the Appointment activity in the Microsoft CRM 1.2 Sales for Outlook-based client by using the Microsoft CRM Sales for Outlook Activity folder or by using the Microsoft CRM Web client.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the query that is used to retrieve the available Regarding records does not filter for deactivated entities.
