SYMPTOMS
Consider
this scenario: You have a client computer that is running Microsoft Windows XP
and a server that is running Microsoft Windows Server 2003. Programs
that
access
data files on the
client or on the server and that
perform
byte range locking operations may fail because
of a connectivity problem. You
may receive an error message that is similar to the following:
Error 64: The specified network name is no
longer available.
The error message may vary with
the program.
