SYMPTOMSWhen you try to delete a large plan from your Microsoft
Project Server 2002 database, you may receive a "timeout" error message and the
plan is not deleted. Additionally, during the time when you are trying to
delete the plan, other users may not be able to log on to your database or to
perform other functions that require information from your Microsoft SQL
server.CAUSEThis problem may occur if the VWNotify service stops
responding when XML files are published to the Viewdrop folder and you try to
delete a plan from your database.WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, empty the Viewdrop folder
before you delete plans from your Project Server 2002 database.RESOLUTIONHow to obtain the hotfixThis issue is fixed in the Microsoft Project Server 2002 Hotfix

plan from your Project Server 2002 database after you install this hotfix.
