The following issue is fixed in this hotfix package:
834701 Word 2003 may stop responding and memory usage may increase if you add XML tags in a table
The following issue is also fixed in this hotfix package, but it was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
- If you try to programmatically retrieve the XML of a selection in a Word 2003 document, Word 2003 may stop responding (hang). This problem may occur if the selection contains a table that has an XML element in the first cell.
