Some Design-Time Controls may not function in FrontPage 2003 (837237)

SYMPTOMS

When you open your Web page in Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003, some Design-Time Controls (DTC) that worked in Microsoft FrontPage 2002 may not function in FrontPage 2003.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because the Dtcrt.dll file is no longer included with FrontPage 2003 or later.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, design your controls with ASP.NET. For more information about ASP.NET, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.This problem was first corrected in Office 2003 Service Pack 1.
