The Created On Last 7 Days column in the Advanced Find dialog box returns all records instead of the records that were created during the last seven days in Microsoft CRM (835307)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft CRM, the Created On Last 7 Days column in the Advanced Find dialog box returns all records instead of the records that were created during the last seven days. This problem occurs after you create a custom view in Microsoft CRM, and you use the Created On column in the Advanced Find dialog box to filter the information for the last seven days.

This problem also occurs in Microsoft Business Solutions CRM 1.2 Sales for Outlook. It also occurs when you create a filter for a report in Microsoft CRM.

RESOLUTION

Microsoft CRM has a fix for this problem that is part of a cumulative update. The cumulative update information is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

Steps to reproduce the problem

  1. Start Microsoft CRM.
  2. Click Home, click Settings, click System Customization, and then create a new view for the Lead object.
  3. Add the name of the box and the creation date to the view.
  4. Enter the filter criteria to filter the Created On column for the Condition In the Last 7 days column.
  5. Save the view.
  6. Click Sales, click Leads, and then use the new view. The view pulls all records.
