FIX: The 997 Functional Acknowledgment receipt reports the wrong transaction identifier as a duplicate in the original document in BizTalk Server Accelerator for HIPAA (834835)

SYMPTOMS

When the Microsoft BizTalk Server Accelerator for HIPAA version 2.0 receives a HIPAA interchange that contains two or more duplicate transaction identifiers, the Accelerator may produce a 997 Functional Acknowledgment receipt that reports the duplicate identifier incorrectly.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
