The data in a custom date field in Microsoft CRM does not transfer to a user-defined field in Great Plains (834386)

SYMPTOMS

The data in a custom Date field in a sales order document in Microsoft Business Solutions CRM does not transfer to the User Defined Date 1 field in Microsoft Business Solutions-Great Plains. The custom Date field remains blank on the integrated order even though the Date field was populated in Microsoft CRM. The document transfers together with several other custom fields and mappings. However, the custom date field does not flow into the date fields in Great Plains.

This problem occurs even though the Date field and the User Defined Date 1 field are mapped. This problem occurs when the mapping between the fields was created in Microsoft BizTalk Mapper.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next version of Microsoft CRM that contains this hotfix.
