FIX: You cannot marshal RecordSet data after you migrate your Visual J++ project to Visual J# .NET (834102)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to migrate your Microsoft Visual J++ project to Microsoft Visual J# .NET, you cannot successfully migrate code that marshals Windows Foundation Classes (WFC) recordsets across processes to a Component Object Model (COM) middle tier.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
