Internet Explorer makes two unnecessary POST requests to the Ocget.dll file when you log off Outlook Web Access (OWA) 2003 (833705)

  • Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Standard Edition

SYMPTOMS

When you log off Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA) 2003, Microsoft Internet Explorer may make two unnecessary POST requests to the following URLs:

CAUSE

The issue occurs if the Secure/Multipurpose Internet Mail Extension (S/MIME) control is not installed on your OWA client.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Exchange Server 2003.

File information

The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.
