You do not receive a message indicating invalid XML markup in Office Solution Accelerator for Proposals documents (833685)

SYMPTOMS

When you move an assigned section in your Microsoft Office Solution Accelerator for Proposals document inside another assigned section while you are in the Outline view (for example, you click Outline on the View menu, and then you click Move Up on the Outlining toolbar), you do not receive a message that indicates that invalid XML markup is created when you move or your paste text.

You also do not receive a message that indicates that the document contains invalid XML markup when you click Save and Notify on the Document Actions task pane.

WORKAROUND

To avoid issues when you are working in the Outline view (on the View menu, click Outline), do not move an assigned section inside another assigned section while you are in the Outline view.

When you move or you paste text that creates invalid XML markup, you should receive the following message:

The text you pasted contains invalid XML markup.
This content would make the document XML invalid.

Click OK to remove invalid markup.
Click Cancel to cancel the paste operation.
