Session Summary



This Support WebCast session will discuss the limitations and problems that middle-tier applications may face when they query Analysis Services. This session will talk about memory problems with large dimensions, how to best configure your client, design concepts to use to get the most out of your middle tier, and the limitations of XML/A.

This is a Level 300 session that was recorded December 5, 2003, and presented by David Botzenhart and John Desch. David Botzenhart has been a Microsoft Support Professional for 12 years, for the past 4 years supporting OLAP technology for Microsoft. David is currently an Escalation Engineer for PSS Analysis Services.

John Desch joined Microsoft in 1997 as a Support Professional and has worked in Database Development support for 4 years. For the past one and one-half years, he has been involved in supporting Microsoft OLAP 7.0 and later.
