Lists may be hard to read in Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004 (832636)

SYMPTOMS

You may find that it is difficult to view the various lists in Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004. The animated lists can be difficult for some people to focus on and to read.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, you can turn off the animations in Media Center. To do so, follow these steps:
  1. Press START on the Media Center remote control.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select General.
  4. Select Appearance.
  5. Click to clear the Transition Animations check box.
  6. Select Save.
  7. Select Yes.
