SYMPTOMS
When you download many e-mail messages from an HTTP server that is on a slow connection in Microsoft Outlook 2002, you may receive the following error message one minute after the download process begins:
A connection to the server could not be established. http:
//yourserver.yourcompany.com/test.microsoft is now in offline
mode.
If you click
Details in the error message, you receive the following error message:
There may be server or network problems or
your timeout interval may be too short. Please search Microsoft Outlook Help
for [HTTP Mail]" Troubleshooting.
Additionally, this issue can also occur when you send a large e-mail message by using an HTTP service that is on a slow connection. In this situation, Outlook 2002 will start the sending process. However, after one minute, you receive the following error message in the Outlook Send/Receive Progress window:

timeout occurred while communicating with the server.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, install Microsoft Office XP Service Pack 3 (SP3)
