The Organization Chart shape custom property is not removed when you delete the custom property in Visio 2003 (829727)

SYMPTOMSIf you add a custom property to a Microsoft Office Visio
2003 Organization Chart drawing shape and then delete the custom property, the
field entry for the custom property is not removed (deleted). As a result, both
of the following problems may occur:
- The Fields list increases with each custom property that
you add, even if you remove the custom property.
- Organization Chart shapes that you add to your Visio 2003
drawing may retain the custom property that you deleted.
To view the Fields list in your Organization
Chart, click Options on the Organization
Chart menu, and then click the Fields
tab. CAUSEWhen you add a custom property to an Organization Chart
shape, the custom property is automatically added to the model. This means that
the custom property may be added to every new Organization Chart shape that is
created.
However, the custom property is not added to any other
existing Organization Chart shape. If a custom property is deleted from an
Organization Chart shape, it is not deleted from the model. New Organization
Chart shapes may continue to have the deleted property.WORKAROUNDThere is no known workaround or resolution for this
