A race condition in the COM+ Event System can cause the detection of a corrupted IEventSubscription object (829180)

SYMPTOMS

The Microsoft COM+ Event System can incorrectly detect and then log a corrupted IEventSubscription object. The event log looks similar to the following:
Event Type: Warning 
Event Source: EventSystem 
Event Category: Event Service 
Event ID: 4106 
Date: 3/14/2002 Time: 10:35:37 AM User: domain\user 
Computer: ComputerName 
Description: The COM+ Event System detected a corrupt IEventSubscription object.
The COM+ Event System has removed object ID {...}. The subscriber will no longer 
be notified when the event occurs.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because of race conditions that are in the COM+ Event System.

RESOLUTION
