SYMPTOMS A crash of the Microsoft Distributed Transaction Service
(MSDTC) service process can cause the Microsoft COM+ Queued Component (QC)
Listener
to lose QC messages. CAUSEEven if a COM+ QC must be executed in a transaction because the COM+ Transaction
property is set to required or to required new, the QC Listener reads
QC messages in a non-transactional way when it cannot read the messages in a transactional way.RESOLUTIONHow to obtain the hotfixThis issue is fixed in the Windows 2000
