Picture It! Photo Premium 2002 may not use the second disc during installation (829148)

SYMPTOMS

When you install Microsoft Picture It! Photo Premium 2002, you may not be prompted to insert the second disc.

CAUSE

The typical and minimum installations do not include the second disc. There is only clip art and templates on the second disc.

RESOLUTION

If you want to install the second disc, follow these steps.

Note Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps.
  1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
  3. Click Microsoft Picture It! Photo Premium 2002, and then click Change.
  4. Click Next, click Remove, click Next, and then click Remove.
  5. When the Setup is complete, insert Picture It! Photo Premium 2002 disc 1 in the CD/DVD-ROM drive.
  6. When you are prompted to run Photo Premium Setup, click Yes.
  7. Click Next, click Next, and then click Custom installation.
  8. Click Next, and then click to select the Install templates and the Install clip art sources check boxes.
  9. Click Next, and then follow the prompts to complete Setup.
