SYMPTOMS

When you unlock and then log back on to your computer, the Microsoft Visual Basic Editor may open without menus or toolbars in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003.

CAUSE

This problem may occur when you edit a Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) macro in Outlook 2003, close the Microsoft Visual Basic Editor, and then lock your computer.

WORKAROUND

To restore the menus and toolbars after you unlock the computer, close and then reopen the Visual Basic Editor.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
