SYMPTOMS

Microsoft BizTalk Server 2002 may fail with a database failure when you use specific user credentials in a file receive function (FRF).

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the user credentials that are used in the FRF must have Administrator rights to the BizTalk Server Database and Database tables. This hotfix separates this dependency.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
