Changing printer settings affects more than one printer at a time in Windows NT 4.0 (828789)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Windows NT 4.0

SYMPTOMS

When more than one PostScript 4-based printer is installed on your Windows NT 4.0-based computer, and you change the settings of one printer, the settings of the other printer may change to match the settings of the first printer. For example, if you change the settings of a grayscale PostScript 4-based printer when you print a document, and you switch to a color PostScript 4-based printer the next time that you print, the color printer may print in grayscale mode.
