Large WMI notification query may cause a quota violation (828653)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and in Microsoft Windows XP, if an application tries to register a large notification query through Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI), you may receive an error message that is similar to the following:

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, reduce the size of the notification query.
