Folders in the Folders Pane Do Not Expand Correctly (828647)

SYMPTOMS

In the Folders pane, when you expand a folder, the plus sign (+) may disappear, and the node may not expand even when it contains other folders. This behavior occurs when the folder that you select is from a third-party namespace extension.

If you expand the folder from the third-party namespace extension, the folder expands correctly.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, install Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 or Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 1.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6. This problem was corrected in Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 and in Windows XP Service Pack 1.
