The Make Body Text feature in OneNote 2003 is
used to create a structure under top level items that is not part of the level
or heading. After you mark (flag) the the text as body text, you can select to
hide the body text and still view your top level items.
Levels in
OneNote 2003 are created automatically when you press TAB before the text, or
when you click
Increase Indent on the
Formatting toolbar or on the
Outlining
toolbar.
Note To show the
Outlining toolbar, point to
Toolbars on the
View menu, and then click
Outlining.

To mark text as body text, select the text that you want as body
text, and then do one of the following:
- On the Edit menu, click Make Body
Text.
- On the Outlining toolbar, click
Make Body Text.
After you mark your text as body text, you can select to either
show or to hide the body text.

To hide body text, select the text that contains body text, and
then do one of the following:
- On the View menu, point to Hide
Levels Below, and then click Hide Body
Text.
- On the Outlining toolbar, click
Hide Body Text.

body text, and then one of the following:
- On the View menu, point to Hide
Levels Below, and then click Show Body
Text.
- On the Outlining toolbar, click
Show Body Text.
