OneNote 2003 does not support tables. For more information about tables, visit the following Microsoft Web site:However, to paste a table structure from an HTML Web page to OneNote 2003, use one of the following methods.

Method 1: Use a Microsoft Office Program

When you paste a table from an Office program, the table structure is inserted in OneNote 2003 as nested headings. To paste a table structure from a Web page to OneNote 2003, follow these steps:

1. Copy the table structure on the Web page.
2. Start an Office program, for example Microsoft Word, and then click Paste on the Edit menu.
3. In your Office program, select the table structure, and then click Copy on the Edit menu.
4. In OneNote 2003, put the insertion point on the page where you want the table structure to appear.
5. On the Edit menu, click Paste.

Method 2: Use the Snipping Tool

If you use Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, you can use the Snipping Tool for Tablet PC to grab a screen clipping of the table. When you paste a table by using this method, the table will be a picture and you cannot edit the text that is contained in the table.

Date and Time

Date and Time functionality was added to OneNote 2003 as a part of the Microsoft Office System 2003 Service Pack 1 release. To use this functionality, click Date and Time from the Insert menu.
