Warning message when you save changes that are made to a multi-frame picture in Picture Manager (827741)

SYMPTOMSWhen you save changes that are made to a multiframe picture
such as an animated .gif file or a multipage fax (.tif file), you receive the
following warning message from Picture Manager: Saving
the file <filename> will result in the loss of multiple pages or
animations. You can preserve the original file by saving with another name or
to another location. You may also receive the following message when
you export a multiframe image where edits have been made but not yet committed:
Exporting the file <filename> will result in the
loss of multiple pages or animation. CAUSE This behavior occurs because many Picture Manager editing
features are limited to single-frame images. There is no way to view each frame
of a multi-frame image in Picture Manager.WORKAROUNDTo work around this behavior, use another graphic program or
use your fax software to view the individual frames in the
graphic.STATUS This
behavior is by design.
