Read/Write Entry Points Are Deleted If You Enter a ResServerIndex Variable That Is Not Valid (824488)


The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS

If you enter a ResServerIndex variable name that is not valid into the URL to access the Server Configuration Application (SCA), all the entry points for Microsoft Content Management Server (MCMS) 2002 are marked as non-entry points. If you click OK, the changes are saved in MCMS 2002 and MCMS 2002 stops responding to any page requests.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain and install MCMS 2002 Service Pack 1 (SP1).

STATUS

This problem was corrected in MCMS 2002 SP1.
