This article describes where you can find the Readme files that are included with Microsoft Office Project 2003 and in Microsoft Office Project Server 2003.

Readme files are supplemental files that contain important information about how to install and configure Project 2003 and Project Server 2003. The Readme files are located on the Microsoft Office Project 2003 CD-ROM and Microsoft Office Project Server 2003 CD-ROM. The Readme files are also located on the hard disk where Project 2003 is installed.

To view a list of the Readme files, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Microsoft Office, and then click Microsoft Office Project 2003.
  2. On the Help menu, click Microsoft Project Help.

    The Microsoft Project Help window appears.
  3. In the Search for: box, type readme, and then press ENTER or click the green arrow to start the search.
  4. Click the Readme Files included with Project link.
A list of the Readme files that are included with Project 2003 and with Project Server 2003 and a description of the files and their location appear in the Microsoft Project Help window.
