Pocket PC: Empty Folders in Favorites Do Not Sync (822448)

SYMPTOMS

The Mobile Favorites folder in Microsoft Pocket Internet Explorer may not synchronize folders that do not contain at least one Web address.

CAUSE

If a Mobile Favorites folder is not populated with a Web address, the folder cannot synchronize. Only Favorites folders that contain valid Web addresses can synchronize.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
When you remove Mobile Favorites folders that do not contain Web address information that can be synchronized, you can increase the speed of synchronization.
