SYMPTOMS

When you synchronize both your Outlook 2003 Calendar and your Contacts list with a Palm OS device, you may receive the following warning message several times during the synchronization process:
A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this? If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you should choose "No".

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the security features in Outlook 2003 have been improved to help prevent unauthorized access by third-party programs.
