List Numbering format changes in published Notes or e-mailed notes (820709)

SYMPTOMS

When you publish notes, or e-mail notes, that include a numbered list, the list numbering format changes in the browser or e-mail message.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because this version of OneNote supports only Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) list formats in published notes or e-mailed notes.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use only HTML list formats when you create notes to publish or to send by e-mail. OneNote supports the exporting of the following HTML list formats:

1., 2., 3.,.
a., b., c.,.
i., ii., iii.,.
I., II., III.,.
A., B., C.,.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
