OL2000: "Invalid Page Fault in Fm20.dll" Error Message When You Send a Message By Using a Custom Form (818533)

SYMPTOMS

When you send a message by using a custom form that contains a combo box, Outlook 2000 quits with an error message that is similar to the following:
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.

If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.
When you click Details (on a Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me)-based computer, press ALT+D), you receive the following information:
Microsoft Outlook caused an invalid page fault in Fm20.dll at address.
Note The actual memory address may vary.

RESOLUTION

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This fix may receive additional testing to further ensure product quality. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Microsoft Office 2000 service pack that contains this hotfix.
