International options settings are not retained after you upgrade to Outlook 2003 (817885)

SYMPTOMS

When you upgrade to Outlook 2003 from an earlier version of Microsoft Outlook, your international options settings are not retained.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, reset your international options settings after you upgrade to Outlook 2003. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Start Office Outlook 2003.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. On the Mail Format tab, click International Options.
  4. In the International Options dialog box, select the settings that you want, and then click OK to close the International Options dialog box.
  5. Click OK to close the Options dialog box.
