This Support WebCast will discuss the features in Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Notification Services and how they function. It will demonstrate the development, configuration, and deployment options that are required for developers to successfully implement highly scalable notification applications. The WebCast will also talk about how to troubleshoot message delivery problems. Understanding these aspects will help you recognize the technologies, skills, and benefits that result from using SQL Server 2000 Notification Services.

This is a Level 200 session that will be presented by Mihir Rao. Mihir Rao has been working with all versions of SQL Server for almost four years. He currently holds the MCSE and MCDBA status. Mihir joined the Microsoft SQL Server Support team in January 2000 after completing his Master's in Computer Science. His expertise lies in the areas of XML technologies in SQL Server, Transact-SQL programming, and improving SQL Server performance. Mihir has been involved with the development and support of SQL Server 2000 Notification Services since its beta stage.
