View Filters Do Not Support Non-Gregorian Calendar Dates (817100)

SYMPTOMSWhen you create a new view in a SharePoint Team Services
Team Web site for Announcements, Documents, or
Lists, and then you do both of the following - Filter the view based on a date range.
- Enter non-Gregorian dates (such as Hijri calendar dates) for the
Show items only when the following is true filter values.
you
receive the following error message: Filter value is not a
valid date. CAUSEThis issue occurs because SharePoint Team Services does
not support the use of non-Gregorian calendar dates. If you create a view that
is date-filtered, you must use the equivalent Gregorian date to base
the filter date range on.STATUS Microsoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
