Dsmod Partition and Dsquery Partition Do Not Support -desc Switch (817010)

SYMPTOMSWhen
you
use the
Dsmod partition and Dsquery partition
commands,
the -desc switch is not supported,
even though the command-line Help feature
indicates that this is a valid switch. CAUSEThis issue occurs because Dsmod partition
and Dsquery partition support only a subset of
frequently
used object class attributes.STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are
listed at the beginning of this article.
