HP WebEnforcer 2.0 Cannot Determine the Security Profile and Rules for IIS 6.0 (816714)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to install Hewlett-Packard HP WebEnforcer 2.0 on a Windows Server 2003-based computer, HP WebEnforcer cannot determine the security profile and rules for Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0. Only one security profile is listed:

CAUSE

This problem occurs because HP WebEnforcer 2.0 does not support IIS 6.0.

Note IIS 6.0 is included with Windows Server 2003.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, contact Hewlett-Packard for information about a version of HP WebEnforcer that is supported by Windows Server 2003.
