FP2002: Cannot Log on to New User Account That Was Created Using a Script (813733)
The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you try to log on to a new user account that was
created through a script, you may receive the following error message: The web "http://www.microsoft.com" isn't accessible. It may be
located on an unavailable volume or protected with a
password. CAUSEThis problem may occur if you used a custom script to create
a virtual server, and then you used Owsadm.exe to add users or roles to the
FrontPage Web.RESOLUTIONTo correct this problem, do one or both of the following:
- Restart Microsoft Internet Information Services
(IIS).

HOW TO: Restart Internet Information Services (IIS) on Exchange 2000 Server
-or- - Run Check Server Health:
- Right-click your virtual Web.
- Click All tasks, and then click
Check Server Extensions 2002.
- On the Check Server Health tab, click
Repair for the settings that you want to repair.
Note Microsoft recommends that you click Repair for
Reapply file security settings.
