SYMPTOMSWhen you play a media stream through a Microsoft ActiveX
control on your Web site, any banner ads that are associated with the media
stream may not be displayed.CAUSEThis issue occurs if you use a Windows Media Player 6.4
control on a computer that has Windows Media Player 9 installed on it. Because
of compatibility issues, BANNER and LOGO tags are not supported when they are
used through the Windows Media Player 6.4 ActiveX control.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, either replace the old control with
the newer Windows Media Player 9 Series ActiveX control, or use Media Player
detection code and switch between the controls depending on the version of
Windows Media Player version users of your Web page have. To obtain sample code
and more information about migrating from Windows Media Player 6.4 controls to
Windows Media Player 9, visit the following Microsoft Windows Media Player 9
